Biography of Cengiz BOLCAL, MD., Assoc. Prof.
I was born in 1968 at Nazilli. After graduation from elementary and the secondary school, I participated to the Gulhane Military Academy of Medicine in 1985 and graduated in 1992. Following compulsory service in Tekirdağ, I began my residency in cardiovascular surgery in Gulhane Military Academy of Medicine Department of Cardiovascular Surgery in 1996 and finished my residency in 2001. Between 2001 and 2004 I worked as a staff surgeon in the same department. I was appointed to the assistant professorship in 2004 and after succeeding the examinations; I became an associated professor in 2007. I have been still working as an associated professor in the same department so far. I have participated to many chronic venous insufficiency courses as a lecturer. I have many national and international articles published in SCI-indexed journals.
I am married and father of a son.
