Vaser Liposuction
Vaser Liposuction uses an ultrasonic technology that is tissue-selective. The ultrasound energy targets unwanted fat, but reserves other surrounding tissues such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue to promote smooth contours and rapid healing. This procedure is not intended as a weight loss solution. Patient may not notice a significant amount of weight loss, but achieves a slimmer new shape. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, IV sedation or general anesthesia. Many patients report that they see results immediately after the procedure with the final result at around 3 to 6 months. Fat is necessary to a healthy body, some essential fat layers in any given site remain untreated. If patient does gain a significant amount of weight, the remaining fatty tissue will expand. Best candidates are patients in good health seeking a fast solution to losing stubborn fat deposits.
